I kept hearing this song on the radio and went and looked it up after a friend told me the name of the song...It is a remake of a Lil' Wayne Hip Hop song.

Sorry, but this version is MUCH BETTER!

The lead singer (Ken Nixon) is so effing Bishie, I am going blind staring at him! *la sigh*

I am back from Media*West Con and I still haven't updated about that, my Grandfather's Funeral, or my visit with my new Doctor (that will probably be a private entry, not of interest to others anyway)...

I am just typing this up quick so I can remember to do those updates someday...where does all my time go?

And, I have yet to read my friend's Blogs about ACEN. Thinking about going to only ACEN next year and not MWC...for the last 2 years, I just haven't felt the thrill I used to when going to Lansing, and I don't know why that is...Or maybe I do and I don't want to share it with the public :P

All things to think about.

Oh, and I tried to join Twitter tonight and I got all signed up, invited friends to do it to, even found some ones I wanted to follow about Travel. Then I went to update my profile pic and it completely shut me down and wouldn't let me log back in. Says I don't exist (even though I got the 'Welcome' email) but one of my Friends said she could see I was following her, but when she went to click on who it was (me) it showed nothing. And, she could find me once, and now she can't. I tried the Blogging help site and the same thing happened to other people, and it really doesn't sound like these people had anyone help them out....*sigh*

Just wanted to try this 'hot new thing' and it was a bust...

Finally on Vacation, and I need it even more after a bad day at work. And to top it all off, I wasn't even supposed to be there, I was covering a shift for another co-worker. My Vacation was supposed to start TODAY... Between a different co-worker 'after me' to get me in trouble first thing this morning, to having a dizzy spell and having to sit down before feeling like passing out, it really was time to go home :(

So, now I am off for the next 8 days and I hope to relax as much as possible before having to deal with my real life again. I know for a fact I won't be keeping up on this Journal, but then again, I lost track of it last year around this time...

Off to much needed rest :)

It's been almost a year since I went and seen the 1st Death Note movie (dubbed), and I think it was fall when I saw the 2nd one, also dubbed. The 1st one was playing the day before I was to leave for my yearly vacation in 2008, but I really liked going even though it caused me stress for packing ^__^

I went and seen the SUBTITLED version tonight of "Death Note 3, L-change the world" and I really liked it! I thought it was fun and wwwaaayyy better then the 2nd movie, by far! I would like to own all of them, but if not the others, I most certainly want this one!

Maybe it was because it was subbed?? I am temped to go to the April 30th Dubbed version just to see the differences...I even liked the previews cuz it had an add for Gackt's Red/Blue DVD collection and a movie that I saw advertised in Shojo Beat that is supposed to really good called "Happy Ever After" (I believe that is right), and of course it looks like anything but...and a few other Viz Media stuffs.

There were the extras after the show, the behind the scenes and making of. They had the American voice-over actor (weird that) make an announcement and an "L" reenactment to talk about staying after the show for a chance to win the autograph of the Japanese actor who played him. There would be a special code you would use at the the DN website to sign up. It was an in-joke for the movie which was cute. I tried to sign up, but it kept rejecting anything I did :(

They also showed some clips from the other movies, and when one of him eating a chocolate bar with the shiny wrapper still attached, someone yelled "Look, he got the last golden ticket!"  Even I laughed at that one! Had to admit 'L' would LOVE Wonka Land!

(I usually ignore the 'comedians' that always seem to have something to say to the audience in movie theaters, you know the guy or the guy in 'that' group that loves to play to the crowd...)

Maybe I will try entering later :)

I was hoping they would keep him alive with some loop hole, but no go...Still love 'L' though! I will have to finish all of the manga some day too, LOL!

Goodbye 'L' and I bet your heaven is full of sugar plums and chocolate rivers, and that you can eat everything you see! Willy Wonka be praised!
Oh "L", *la sigh*
 "L", book burning?!?
You know, if the US Film companies screw up and do an 'American' version, I can see this casting!!

On April 17th my Crazy neighbor did a crazy thing...and I guess it happened at the house too...My Mom went out to chat with the News Crew today while they took some shots. They had Crime Scene people there too...Poor kid was stabbed 7 times I believe, but he survived and is elsewhere.

My Sister was in school with this crazy Bitch (and has said don't bother her and stay away cuz she was ALWAYS that bad) and My Mom has seen and heard some really bad things over there while out Gardening...And she almost called the Cops then, but was just as scared of this Woman as we all are.

The woman wanted to friend me on Face Book and I kept avoiding her, asking if she was looking for my Sister who is NOT on there, and she was like "No, you live behind me, your name is ___" and so I friended her cuz really, I was afraid of her! Yeah, I unfriended her tonight when I got home after my Mother told me what went down...I never talked with her on there anyway, but damn!

Here is an article I came across today...Poor Barbie, she is such a whore sometimes...

The only thing they got wrong was a few years ago, in the early to mid 90's (?), Mattel came out with a line called 'Butterfly Tattoos' (I think, or something with 'Butterfly' in it...)  that were the Playline, so all they had was bathing suits and Butterfly Tatts, and some Parents freaked out then, and that line was yanked.

Some how they missed the line of 'bathing suit' dollies called "Barbie Beach Fun" from 2006 that had the Plastic Goddess with belly tattoos factory applied either to their pelvic area, on over their belly button area...I have a few of them and think they look cool, but hey, I am not a Parent...

That or I missed all the fuss....

Enjoy the read!

Tattooed Barbie

Tattooed Barbie Rocks the Web

  • Barbie has changed quite a bit over her 50 years. She's been a princess, a mermaid, and most alarmingly, a NASCAR fan. But she's never gotten inked up...until now. That's right, kids. America's sweetheart now comes with tattoos, and some parents are outraged.

The Buzz is alive with articles on "Totally Stylin' Tattoos Barbie." Some parents remarked that they wouldn't buy a Barbie with tattoos, as it encourages girls to show off their bodies. To be fair, the blond bombshell doesn't come with tattoos already applied. It's up to the kids to attach the stickers where they see fit. The tattoos look to be the standard collection of hearts, stars, and butterflies. Sadly, there are no "Death Before Dishonor" or "Semper Fi" tattoos.

The doll also comes with temporary tats that kids can attach to Barbie's clothing or to themselves with a handy-dandy applicator. Despite the outrage, Barbie-maker Mattel has no plans to discontinue the doll. In fact, tatted-up Barbie is selling well. Searches are also moving at a brisk pace. Over the past day, queries on "tattoo barbie" and "buy tattoo barbie" have taken off.

It's also worth noting that this isn't the first time Barbie has done something controversial. A few years ago, Barbie's best friend Midge was pregnant. After parents complained, Wal-Mart pulled the doll. Stay tuned to see if tattooed Barbie suffers the same cruel fate, or if Mattel keeps it real.

I am sick of Winter because:

I have to get up anywhere from 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours BEFORE I need to leave for work because they don't plow my roads. I live in what used to be a Farming Community, but guess what? Most of them have sold off their land, and it is mostly houses now. And people. Lots more people then should be in a small space. The County however still thinks everyone has tractors and can get themselves out, pfff!

I now have an hour's drive into work because of said roads. My usual ride is 25 to 30 minutes...grrrr!

Fun part: I have to fill an empty milk jug with hot bath water just to get my driver's side door open. Then I carry the container with me into work so that when my shift is over, I can refill with the luke warm water from one of the bathroom sinks. I am still surprised that temp even gets the car door open...and I love standing there doing a fill.

One cold evening, I had to sneak the jug into the place a friend and I were having dinner, just so could steal their hot water to get my car door open again when I left! *blushing at the memory*

Ha Ha, I am the bane of Gissia's existence right now!

Another night as I was doing a pour on my seams, an employee approaches me and says "Is that alcohol?" Yes, Forest Gump it's moonshine. Best thing to use to get frozen locks open...The stupidity follows me everywhere...

I am tired of lugging my tennis shoes around in a bag so I can change out of my boots (which never seem to keep the snow out anyway) when I get to work. Along with my Lunch Bag, that makes 4 extra things I have to carry with me for my trek.

I am sick of getting to work, and there being no hangers upon which to hang our coats. After all we sell clothing at my Store, so you would think a few extra hangers for the employees to use wouldn't be out of the question. Unlike most people, I hang the bag with my now changed out of boots and milk jug WITH my coat on any spare one I can find. I wrap the coat around all of it actually, which only takes up a little more space. When I asked a manager-type person for some more plastic, she was like "Sorry, there isn't any." So, my answer was "What, am I suppose to leave it on the floor?!?" Her glazed-over eyes and shrug had me a little pissed then. So, I wrapped my bag handles around an arm of my coat, and TIED MY COAT TO THE BARS WE USE TO HANG OUR ITEMS...yeah.

How many millions does WalMART make a day, and they can't spare some plastic hangers?!? WTF?!?

My personal favorite thingie is the people who use individual hangers for each of their items! Not only are there NO hangers to use, now there is NO SPACE to place them on anyway! Try tieing your coat up and still remain polite, when all you want to do is rip those things down and leave them on the wet and dirty floor, THANK YOU!

At the end of my night it's change back into boots, get water, try and open door. Take the hour ride back home and get back up the next day to repeat over again, oy!

It's not that I hate Winter! It's beautiful and lots of fun can be had playing in the snow...It's just that I am not seeing any of the fun this year. Not yet anyway...Having an outdoor adventure in this stuff is great, but trudging back and forth every day to a job I need a break from (more on that later!) is NOT how to spend it, trust me!

Anyway, rant over and now I am all warm and toasty again :P
The acessory every girl should have this Winter, it's all the rage! Go out an get yours today!

Well, might as well give up the ghost... I think Kakashi is dead, for certain this time... I kept holding out hope, but this week's chapter of Naruto...I think it says all it needs to say!

Goodbye Kakashi, I loved you the most! I will still read Naruto, but I will be sad doing so :P

Out of the mouths of babes...Boo Hoo Boo Hooo, my broken heart!
